my cousin, victoria, had a boyfriend named chris. apparently, they broke up. for over several months (and up until this morning) her away message stated something along the lines of ... "if i can't have you i'll be alone for the rest of life." ... along with many other lines of desperatism. today, her away message says "i love marco a.a.f. 10*26*04 you're my everything! all i wanted was u. i think about you over and over again!"
lol. i miss the simplicity of 6th grade "love." |

i know eric sometimes thinks i am way too hard to please. i don't think he realizes, though, it is the littlest things that make me so happy. |

[Sep. 7th, 2004|02:01 pm] |
eh, i guess there's nothing too important to write about this weekend. lots of babysitting. lots of money. ate great mexican. oh! ran into curtis and his cousin ryan at urban outfitters. that was weird. i'm always running into curtis! (and his family, although they live faaar away). oh, kelley, his gf was there, too. she's too cute. it was nice to see them.

today is the most beautiful day! it's sunny, sunny, sunny, but it is only 80 degrees! my day started out bad. unfortunately, i wasn't surprised. but theeen, i walked outside and viola! my mood immediately changed. it was a fabulous day!
as i continued to walk, i got sad. i wished er was walking to school with me and that we could enjoy the weather together. hmph! some dream.
when i got to math class, i received my first math paper back. i've been dreading the return of this paper, as the grade would somewhat set the tone for the rest of the semester. however, i got a 9.6/10. YAYYY! ME! my bad day... turned good... turned sad... was then... ECSTATIC!
when i got home, i ran some errands. it's been a productive day... so far... let's hope it stays this way.

| weekend forecast |
[Sep. 3rd, 2004|02:08 pm] |
it's going to be another busy weekend!
tonight: sitting for callaway and tatum. i love to sit for these two girls, as their parents are fucking great. eric loves tatum. i enjoy watching him interact with children. he's going to be a fabulous father.
tomorrow: we have some returns to make @ urban outfitters... we may or may not get to those. also, we have to pick out "parts" for a computer that eric is going to "build." this sounds way too boy-ish for me to be involved... lol. at least i can make sure the exterior pieces... like the monitor, mouse, keyboard, case, and speakers are pretty. that's as far as it'll go.
tomorrow night: yay yay yay! i have a date... sitting for kaelen. i am so excited.
sunday: finish all unfinished business. begin hw, which will continue into...
monday: (see above).
josh is moving to colorado springs :( i worry about him, but i think a new beginning will benefit him... and i'm sure his sister is ecstatic. to him, i wish the best of luck.
and that, i think... is all.

so... today was a fucking busy day! all i wanted to do was "relax" this weekend. hmph! it's not happening...
yesterday, i got my haircut. i had to drive an hour and a half, in traffic, to frisco to get it done, but... my stylist (or art designer, as she is called) is fabulous. i won't go to anyone else, ever. i swore to myself that i was going to "grow my hair out long." but, just as i predicted, as soon as it hit my shoulders... it was WAY too long, and it had to go. so, i chopped it all off. i'm really happy with it, and i finally agree with all who say "you're a short hair girl."
this morning, as soon as i got up, i got dressed and went to richland hills to pick up my new contacts. my doctor is "the official doctor of the texas rangers." his office is gorgeous, and i found lots of frames that i adore. eric is going to him soon, too. i'm seeing kinda blurry with my right eye. i may need a new script, but hopefully... my eyes just need to get used to them.
then, when i came home we went to the goodwill. we donated old clothes, a surround sound system, and some other stuff.
then, we went to petsmart. i found the most precious wee kitten. eric wouldn't let me get it, but our friends are going to adopt it in the morning. i'm sure chris will thank me later... for brining the cat's existence to his kitten-loving/yearning gf's attention.
then, we went to ulta... and... guess what?!?! i got a CHI straightening iron. yeah!!! i am so excited. it is amazing. ashley will be so happy for me :) and we got lots of hair products.
then... we went into dallas with our friends chris and sarah. we shopped at urban outfitters. i got three cute t's. eric got two cute t's that are *perfect* for him.
and then, we went and ate mexican food at *our* restaurant. the best fucking mexican food.
and then, we went to deep ellum, and i got my nose pierced. yay. i've also set up my next piercing... ;) i can't wait for that one.
then... around 2 am ish... we went major grocery shopping. we're not going to starve (or eat out) anymore.
and until next time...

my science class scares me. three tests = final grade. test one and two = 60% of grade. final = 40% of grade. prof said to expect a mid 70ish average. hmmm! |

eric did something pretty brilliant, as always (i mean this un-sarcastically). to this, i said:
"you're so smart, honey!"
to which he replied:
"that's why i'm the engineer."
"... whereas i'm the stupid teacher?"
"no babe, you are just good at other things. like... you're crafty."
"... so you're saying all i am good at... is crafts?!?"
ahhh!!!

this is the most ridiculous state of affairs... that i've ever witnessed. i'm truthfully humiliated to call you two my fiancé and my friend! i don’t know how i should feel or what i should say about this situation, other than i, myself, am putting an end to the stupidity… now. i refuse to tolerate the childishness. there will be no more shit talking (at least that i’ll willingly read; ie other people's journals) and, most definitely, no ass beating. i teach children not marry or befriend them. |

and so, another day has ended. what a fucking crazy day. this was the hardest day of work... that i've ever had. tammy and i are amazing at our jobs... and we'll just leave this terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day... at that.
so after work, i was so stressed out. i wanted to die. to make myself feel better i: went to whole foods in plano. the guy that checked me out was way nice. we talked for a super long time, and i learned that the store i was in is the biggest store owned by the company. interesting. i bought:
olives bread meatless meat-like products (by quorn- they're delicious!) and vegnews mag
then, i went to kohl's and bought the new kohl's cares for kids books and stuffed animals... 100% of the net profits go to a designated children's charity. both the books and animals teach really good ideas and morals, such as being: cheerful, honest, thoughtful, helpful, and brave. yay. i can't wait to be a "real" teacher.
i am too sad to type more, and so... the end. |
